As an advanced IB course, this class immerses students in the detailed study of literature and language from diverse cultures and periods. Students refine their critical thinking skills by analyzing how literary form, narrative technique, and context shape meaning. Through expressive writing, oral presentations, and analytical IB assessments, learners develop sophisticated communication abilities while meeting all state curriculum standards. All SOL requirements are met, and students take both the English EOC Reading and the Writing SOL LPA to earn verified credits toward graduation.
