This interdisciplinary IB course applies scientific inquiry to human movement, athletic performance, and general health. As part of the IB laboratory science curriculum, students study anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition to understand how the human body responds to physical activity. Experimental lab work allows learners to collect and analyze physical performance data firsthand. This course offers ideal preparation for students pursuing university majors or careers in sports medicine, physical therapy, and health sciences.
